I made my own purple/pink case before in high school. And I look at now, I wish mine was plain white....
I simply used thick fabric(all I can tell you is it's weaved fabric) and serged the edges. I hand stitched the flower design with embroidery thread.
The strap is also handmade, I crocheted 4 long single crochet and did 4 string-braid into one thick strap.
