Other Places In California

Last post of my trip to California!
Too many photos to choose from so it's really hard to decide what to share!

These are other places I went that's not Disney, SDCC related.

The most I wanted to see was Jeff Koons' balloon sculpture. You can really stare at those colors all day.
Checked out Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Barbara Kruger, Takashi Murakami's work.

Infinity Mirror was free here. Score!

Food Porn in California

Continuing from my last post, this is all about food!
Just FOOD!! Places I went to eat throughout my trip.

Some photos are pretty bad because of excitement eating first before taking picture of it.
Screw the photo! Food's gonna get cold!

Oh and also, you can click to Everything is Pixar to see food at Disney!

Nothing Bunt Cakes
Started my first breakfast in LA with Nothing Bunt Cakes.

In-N-Out
No secret menu, just simple burger and fries. Fries were surprisingly not good!

Halo Top Creamery
Since we were there, might as well try all their freshly made cones.

- Peaches n'cream + Puffles
- Caramel Maciatto + Waffle Cone

El Chilito
This I don't have everyday so it was delicious! I got Manjo Juice, Mango Flower with Tajin Spices. I'm not good with spices so Tajin was a little too much for me.

El Chilito

Honeymee
Rushed to take photo cuz ice cream was melting already.
Great flavor, simple and clean.

Tsujita
Tsukemen is my favorite ramen. Dunking that noodle into salty-ass soup base, you can't go wrong with that! They also make really good runny egg that goes so well with the soup. Ordered with Iced Matcha.

Chinchikurin
This one was exciting one for me. I never had Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki!

Chinchikurin

Chinchikurin: Hiroshima Okonomiyaki

The big difference is it comes with yakisoba layered with Okonomiyaki. And you have a choice of yakisoba to be soft or crunchy. We went for crunchy.

Astro
One of the main donut I wanted to try in LA, Creme Brulee donuts!
A square shaped donut injected with custard and then caramelized sugar torched on top.

The top layer cracks like Creme Brulee so you can enjoy the chewy dough with crunchy sugar. Ordered separately with fried chicken and you can enjoy the combination of sweet and salty meal!
