Happy Holiday!
This year has been quite interesting year.... Def is a year to forever remember... Let's continue to stay safe and hope everything will go back to normal next year.
Here is my best nine for this year! It was fun year to revisit my old drawing(#kiddyfactory20th) and see the difference I can do now! And a little relieved I have improved this last 20 years, it does feel like a constant battle of pressure if I'm getting better or not...
Did a fun project I did for my old friend. It was his 2nd year Wedding Anniversary so he wanted a gift of couple's Amigurumi of him and his wife wearing their attire at the wedding.
Real photo is kept private but I did try to follow the dress, suit, hair, bouquet, boutonniere detail as possible. Umbrella was one of their asset used for their photo shooting and their theme color.
Happy 2nd year Anniversary to the couple!
I had decision to make if I should have used full fabric on the skirt but decided to do crochet skirt with chiffon wrapped around it. Full fabric loses its "crochet" look when skirt covers 60% of the figure.
Glasses frame were done with plastic sheet from yogurt container lid. Used crochet yarn to wrap around the frame.
Thread wire through couple's arms, and torso to make them stand.
Base was from wood scrap I had and used jigsaw to make circle base, and stained. Then paper clip was used to pierce on the base to make them stand straight.
Crocheted bouquet with little flowers and leaves and.....
Made calendar for 2021! I have few collection of stamps so I thought I would try hand stamping to make the calendar. Kept it simple so I have enough space to write my plans and stuff in the negative space area.
Redraw Challenge #6 There was moment of time I was into Slayers Try, and Saber Marionette's art style. Those unexplained giant Christmas ornament balls were so pretty to attach around hair, body and clothing.
This illustration had another memorable moment where it was the time I discovered Smudge tool in Photoshop to blend skin colors instead of using soft brush to blend.
How's everyone's social distancing? It's nice to able to go out.
Stayed at Silent Lake Provincial Park for 2 nights last weekend. Chilled to fish, hike, eat and sleep in nature. Weather was great for every event, my home doesn't have AC so it feels amazing to enjoy cooler weather to do activities. Night time was almost too cold to sleep but that's because I didn't bring sleeping bag assuming 17 degrees is doable to sleep without it! But if you wear extra layer then it's all good.
Still need social distancing at Camping site to check in.

This is one of the lake with no gas, battery operated motors are allowed so we had to row everywhere we go fishing. This is my highlight of fishing catching 2,5lbs bass.

I'm also keeping myself busy with new Animal Crossing.
Brought it at camp to do my daily achievements. This is my little campsite I created.
